Ideally, a perfect birth for the mother is for her to be able to deliver the child in her own power, and maybe with some support from others. I am sure she would want a natural tile bath and have people who are close to her around her if and when she needs them for support
A perfect birth for a baby?
Apparently, a fast birth or a long birth is stressful for the baby as it comes down the birth canal.
There are so many obstacles to a perfect birth because, first of all, the baby needs to be completely ready, head down and pressing against the cervix; the next thing to happen is that the cervix opens easily and allows the baby to move into the next stage. Progressing down the birth canal ideally is easy, not too fast and not too slow, so the baby can become aware of the changes in its environment. Then the baby is ideally caught or received with a gentle touch and placed immediately on the mother’s breast.
In terms of being ideal, we discover that, as a soul moving through lifetimes, we choose our birth script based on what we are here to achieve. This is hard to imagine for a soul who has pain, agony, abuse and trauma from mild to extreme.
I can give the example of myself: I was born to an unconscious mother who was fully tied, and I wasn’t breathing when I was born and had to be revived. My whole life is about conscious breathing, firstly by studying metaphysically and then by going to a yoga Ashram to learn meditation and the yoga methods of accessing the subconscious mind. It’s easy to understand. I got attracted to Breathwork when I came back to Australia because it is all about conscious breathing.
So I can say I chose my birth and birth circumstances. Another thing I have discovered in all my years of investigation is that whatever decisions we made very, very early can be reversed and come to be our power. So I was feeling like I was dying because I couldn’t breathe coming down the birth canal, and I decided to give up because I couldn’t try to move any more, so my decision became: when I give up, I get pulled out, and that has happened many times in my life.
